South West Slopes FA in good hands

02.06.2017

Newly appointed South West Slopes Coach Development Manager Mick Godbier has hit the ground running with successfully run coaching courses held in Harden, Temora and his home town of Cootamundra recently.

With the aid of Football NSW, Godbier has been busily promoting the code via special coaching courses held that attracted a healthy number of interested coaches as well as players within the South West Slopes region.

“Being involved in football in the area I live where my kids and I have played is a real buzz.

“I am looking forward to servicing the area helping to get more kids playing and enjoying the game through coach education courses and any support I can give.”

Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez was delighted with Godbier’s introduction in further developing the world game within the South West Slopes region.

“When we began looking to invest more in regional areas and needed more human capital, Mick was an obvious choice to work for the South West Slopes Football Association.

“He has now also completed his advance C-Licence course and staff training as well as being involved with our country state teams.”

With more assistance for coaches via workshops, courses and game day experiences in the pipeline, the South West Slopes Football Association is certainly in good hands.
