Nepean FA host successful female football activation


Female Football Week was alive and kicking in the Nepean region as the Nepean Football Association hosted three successful clinics last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Wednesday 8th of March saw Nepean Football Association host its first clinic at Winmalee, Thursday, Jamisontown was the scene for the second while finally on Friday, Richmond was the venue as over 250 participants across the three days attended and celebrated Female Football Week.

Nepean FA Football Manager James Rankine highlighted the important role female football played in the development of the sport in Australia and was delighted with the turnout of participants across the three days.

“Nepean FA have been pleased to participate in Female Football Week and help celebrate all the girls and women involved in our great game.

“We’ve hosted our EXPO as well as a Grassroots Coaching course and then 3 fun sessions throughout our region where over 250 people have taken part in the activities.

“We’d like to acknowledge the FFA, Football NSW, Western Sydney Wanderers as well as NRMA Insurance who have all been partners in delivering this initiative.”
