What's new in 2013?

SMOKING NOW BANNED AT SPORTS GROUNDS

Smoking is now banned in spectator areas at sports grounds during organised sporting

 events and activities.  Fines of up to $550 apply to individuals who breach this regulation under the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000. Fines still apply if there is not signage at the venue.

NEW FFA NATIONAL MEMBER PROTECTION POLICY

The FFA released a new National Member Protection policy in December 2012 which applies to all clubs, associations, branches, futsal and referee branches.  All MPIO's should familiarise themselves with this document for application to their organisation.  FFA National Member Protection Policy
