The Football NSW Institute (FNSWI) delivers best practice development opportunities for the State's most talented players.
What is the Football NSW Institute?
2013 was the inaugural year for the FNSWI. The Institute unified the previous Skilleroos, New South Wales Institute of Sport and Skill Acquisition Programs for boys and girls into a clearly defined structure, aligned to the Football Federation Australia Integrated Talented Player Pathway. In 2016 the FNSWI focuses on the talented player pathway for girls.
2016 FNSWI Structure Document
The Football NSW Institute Structure document details Football NSW's review of the 2015 program and details the framework for 2016.
The FNSWI provides our players an even better development opportunity, supporting the progression of players to the Australian Institute of Sport, Westfield W-League and FFA National Teams.
We strive to offer NSW's young players the best possible learning environment so they can realise their footballing dreams.
A word from Alex Tobin

"The Football NSW Institute is the official elite development program for girls U13 to U17 and will provide talented footballers a training environment, consistent with FFA policies, that delivers the highest standard of coaching and best platform for those players to realise their personal ambitions of becoming professional footballers and representing their country.”
