Cheryl Salisbury Cup
The Cheryl Salisbury Cup was inaugurated in 2008 to provide the Premier, Super Youth League and Association Representative Grade 12 Women's teams the opportunity to play Tournament Football. To enhance this tournament opportunites also exist for representative teams from our Country Branches and interstate to also enter.
By naming this tournament in honor of Cheryl Salisbury we acknowledge Cheryl as Australia's all time highest capped player (male or female) with 147 appearances (to date) and is Australia’s highest international goalscorer of all time - 36 goals. Cheryl is also Captain of the Matildas and the Australian Olympic team and has played 100 A-International matches.
