Information for Teams Travelling Interstate or Overseas

Approval to tour
All interstate and overseas tours must be approved by FOOTBALL NSW and FFA (and local Association and/or Branch) prior to departure.

Tour Permit Applications
A Tour Permit Application must be completed prior to travel.

Tour Permit Applications MUST be submitted to Football NSW with all necessary documentation - NO LESS THAN 8 WEEKS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.

Once checked and approved by FNSW the application is forwarded to FFA for final check and approval.

Where teams are touring to compete in an interstate or overseas tournament, the relative State or National Football Federations may need to be contacted by Football NSW and/or FFA to ensure event sanctioning.

These checks can often take some time and can result in processing delays.

Early lodgement of Tour Applications is preferred and strongly recommended.

Late Lodgement or Failure to Lodge
Late lodgement or failing to lodge a Tour Permit Application or the necessary documentation may result in:
· Rejection of the Tour Permit Application
· Non approval to tour and/or travel and/or participate
· Cancellation of invitation by the interstate or overseas tournament hosts
