As you will be aware FNSW has conducted a Women’s Football Review, with participation by Football Federation Australia representatives, which has made recommendations to the FNSW Board with respect to optimal structures for development and participation of women in the sport.
This process has been co-ordinated via the Football NSW Women’s Football Review Panel, who took on board the submissions received from the broader football community then sought further input via a Town Hall meeting in relation to the terms of reference. The Terms of Reference were developed to seek NSW specific context to the outcomes of the FFA Women’s Competition Review.
The Panel then made recommendations to the FNSW Board with respect to the optimal structures.
Please find below the outcomes of that review as endorsed by the FNSW Board.
We are grateful for the Football community’s contribution via submissions, Town Hall meetings and regular feedback, and look forward to working with the Football Associations and Clubs to realise the positive outcomes of the process.
